Pinhoser - Indústria de Madeiras da Sertã, Lda

Pinhoser formed the Palser - S.A. Investimentos business group which was founded in 1984 and is mainly involved in the forestry sector. It develops its main activities which are: sawing, production and recuperation of pallets, and wooden package manufacturing in three plants.

The first company to begin service was Pinhoser in 1984. It is located in Cumeada in the county of Serta, in central Portugal, and it is engaged in the sawmill industry of pine wood. In 1990, Palser was formed in Serta; it was dedicated to the manufacturing of pallets, platforms and wood packaging, having recently built a forest biomass power plant with the injection of energy into the national grid. The third bet was the factory in Palmela, in 1997, with the original purpose being the recovery and sale of used pallets. In parallel, nowadays, it also manufactures new pallets and produces sawn wood.
